Audio Transfers to CD

 

Supported Slide Formats:

Vinyl 33-1/3 rpm LP, 45 rpm, 78 rpm Records, cassette tapes, reel to reel tapes (4-7-10" any speed)

 

Technical Process:

Vinyl records are physically cleaned and noise hum, pops and clicks can be significantly reduced or even eliminated. Tapes are carefully inspected and transferred using professional equipment.  The recovered recordings are save on CD in a file format of your choice.

 

 

Video Transfers to DVD

 

Supported Video Tape Formats:

VCR tape, Camcorder tape, Compact VHS tape (CVHS/C-VHS), SVHS, 8mm, Hi8mm (Hi8), Digital8, DV, MiniDV, DVCAM, Fisher-Price PXL2000

 

Technical Process:

The original video signal is color corrected and digitally processed though a TBC (Time Base Corrector). The video is then converted to 480 lines of resolution in a MPEG2 file.  Sound will be converted to a 4800Khz digital file and both are rendered to a compliant DVD file.  The file is authored to include chapter points at approximately 5 minute intervals for easy navigation and scene skipping. This is then burned to a DVD-R. DVD+R is available upon request.

 

 

 

Photographs on DVD

                                         

Supported Image Formats:

Prints, CD, E-mailed

 

Technical Process:

Prints are scanned with a hi-resolution CCD to match NTSC color requirements.  Electronic images are converted to NTSC color using software filters.  Then the images are imported to a NLE (non-linear editing) program and placed on a timeline for a duration of approximately 7 seconds with a 1 second transition between each image. Next converting to 480 lines of resolution in a MPEG2 file it is rendered to a compliant DVD file.  The file is authored to include chapter points at approximately 5 minute intervals for easy navigation and picture skipping.  This is burned to a DVD-R.  DVD+R is available upon request.

 

 

 

 

Slides on DVD

35mm, View-Master, Other Various Sizes

 

Technical Process:

Slides are scanned with a hi-resolution CCD to match NTSC color requirements. Film Transfers to DVD

 

Supported Slide Formats:

8mm, S8mm (Super8, Super 8mm)(Magnetic Sound or Silent), 16mm (Optical or Magnetic Sound or Silent)

 

Technical Process:

Films are scanned with a hi-resolution CCD to match NTSC color requirements. 8mm formats run at 18fps (+/- 1 fps).  16mm run at 24fps.  The images are imported to a NLE (non-linear editing) program and placed on a timeline and over or under exposed film is edited out.  Next we convert the film to video at 480 lines of resolution in a MPEG2 file that is rendered to a compliant DVD file.  If sound is present, it will be converted to a 4800Khz digital file and both files are rendered to a compliant DVD file.  The file is authored to include chapter points at approximately 5 minute intervals for easy navigation and picture skipping.  This is burned to a DVD-R.  DVD+R is available upon request.

 

 

 

 

Quality Control: 

Using professionally restored turntables and tape machines we transfer sounds into a digital files that can be enhanced by state-of-the-art software.  Only quality recordable CDs are used and all files are archived for safe keeping and future copies if needed.  Proofs are available prior to ensure satisfaction. Results will vary depending on the quality of the original video tape.  SLP recordings, multiple generation copies or damage to the tape will cause degraded video.  Your videos will be thoroughly evaluated before any transfer process and you will be advised as to it's condition prior to any obligation on your part.  Images will be letter blocked on top and bottom or sides as necessary.  Once transferred to DVD all discs are checked from start to end in a minimum of four different DVD brand players for playback ability.  A second copy is made for comparison and kept on file for archive purposes and additional copies if needed. Your pictures will be thoroughly evaluated before any transfer process and you will be advised as to their compatibility prior to any obligation on your part.  Pictures will be sized to fit entirely on a TV screen.  Images will be letter blocked on top and bottom or sides as necessary.  Once transferred to DVD all discs are checked from start to end in a minimum of four different DVD brand players for playback ability.  A second copy is made for comparison and kept on file for archive purposes and additional copies if needed. Your slides will be thoroughly evaluated before any transfer process and you will be advised as to their compatibility prior to any obligation on your part.  Images will be sized to fit entirely on a TV screen.  Images will be letter blocked on top and bottom or sides as necessary.  Once transferred to DVD all discs are checked from start to end in a minimum of four different DVD brand players for playback ability.  A second copy is made for comparison and kept on file for archive purposes and additional copies if needed. Your films will be thoroughly evaluated before any transfer process and you will be advised as to their condition and format prior to any obligation on your part.  Any over or under exposed film segments that has no recognizable picture will be edited out of transfer (NOT THE FILM).  Once transferred to DVD all discs are checked from start to end in a minimum of four different DVD brand players for playback ability.  A second copy is made for comparison and kept on file for archive purposes and additional copies if needed.

 

 

All Records, Tapes, Videos, Photos, Slides and Film are returned!
